Trauma Therapy

Most of our dysfunctional patterns are rooted in unprocessed traumatic life experiences. Attachment traumas in early childhood define the blueprint for our adult relationships and dictate the quality of our life. Loss, accidents and life transitions that are experienced without adequate support can be traumatizing, too, and impact us later in life. I help you learn to embody a sense of safety from within so you can move on and thrive after trauma.

Sex and Love Addiction

As a trauma specialist, I help you get to the root of your obsessive and painful patterns around love, romance and sex. Guiding you through each step, together we will devise a plan for you to learn a whole new way of relating to yourself in sex and love and therefore creating healthy and thriving relationships around you.

Codependency

Codependency was often modeled to us by parents in survival mode. This is the only pattern we knew. I help you heal your anxious/avoidant attachment style so you can create a secure and safe experience in love and intimacy.

Love and Dating Coach

Nervous about how to navigate healthy dating after having gone through so much in relationships? Defining what a healthy relationship feels and looks like and learning to voice boundaries in a way that fosters connection and growth are some of the first steps on your dating journey. I will help guide you each step of the way.

Nervous System Healing

When it comes to issues of trauma and relationship dysfunction, working with talk therapy can reach a plateau. Somatic therapy involving breathwork and guided visual meditations is a complimentary treatment to talk therapy. At the basis of healing trauma is learning tools to self-regulate and calm your nervous system.

You or a loved one are facing challenges and you aren’t sure how to move forward. It could be a relationship problem with a spouse or partner, family problems with children, aging, death or a personal problem with work, anxiety, depression or life changes. Whatever it is, it’s complicated and you need it to change.

Asking for help when you have run out of options is a healthy and brave decision to make, but it can be difficult, especially when asking for help may be judged as a weakness or failure by some. Seeking therapy is not a failure and it is not something to be ashamed of. Counseling can give you the relief of having someone to listen to you in a safe space where you can go to be heard and understood, respected, and encouraged to begin the process of healing and change. It is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself.

My primary goal as a counselor and coach is to offer the opportunity to heal and improve your life in a quiet, relaxing, and uniquely private setting, free of the distractions and stress of daily life. What it means to heal or to improve is unique to every individual, and so are the ways in which we get there. As a therapist, I find joy in helping you find the path that is right for you.
